Google has now partnered with Sony and Intel. The reason? In order to form Google TV. They just might be able to compete with Apple TV. This is not guaranteed, however, Google TV seems to have more options than Apple TV. It seems that Apple will have to update their system so that they can really compete with Google.

Google’s goal with Google TV is to fuse the Web with TVs. This will be different from other Interned enabled TVs because, after all, this is Google that we are talking about.

This might revolutionize TV forever. Google’s goal with Google TV is to fuse TV with the Web. In the below video, they talk about how using the Internet to find your favorite TV show is so much easier, but your home entertainment system is so much better to watch. With Google TV, you get the best of both worlds.

You will be able to buy TVs that have Google TV built in, or you can buy a separate box that you can connect to your current TV and you will have the same results.

It is very easy to use. You just type in what you are looking for – anything – and Google TV will find it for you. It will search all your channels, your recorded shows, YouTube and other sites. This way you can choose what you want to see, when you want to see it. If you find something that you like you can add it to your homepage. This is kind of like the new tab window in Google Chrome (Google’s Web Browser). It is simple and easy to use.

On your homepage you can have shows, music playlists, photo albums and even more. You don’t have to only have TV shows.

Google TV also has a full web browser so that you can have unlimited access to the Internet.

Google TV will give you the home entertainment experience that you have always wished for. It will be smart, simple, easy and fast.

Like Google says, you will be able to spend less time finding what you want and spend more time watching what you want.

That is a quick summary of what Google TV means to you.

Below is a quick video from Google explaining a little more about it.
