This book is full of good wishes and sage advice all on your iPad. I for one, love Dr. Seuss. His stories are excellently written and illustrated. His cheerful characters and colorful drawings are fantastic for re-visting a childhood memory or, for giving your child a new favorite childhood memory by reading this fantastic book to them. The iPad app comes with three ways to read it. 1. “Read to Me” This option lets you listen to the narrated story with the words highlighted as they are read. This is nice if you are feeling lazy or just want someone to read a story to you. 2. “Read it Myself” This option lets you read the book in its natural form. You read it like a book turning the pages yourself. 3. “Auto Play” This is a great feature. The book plays like a movie. It automatically reads the book to you turning the pages for you. It has background music for every page. This option is great for entertaining younger children. This book tells the story of a cheerful little guy in a yellow jumpsuit who is making his way around the world. “He travels through a wide variety of colorful Seussian landscapes, cities and sticky situations – some exhilarating, some depressing, some a little frightening.” This story is one of destiny, hope, adventure, exploration and much, much more. This book is often overshadowed by The Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this book is more than a silly tale of rambunctious creatures. It has a deep underlying meaning and tale regarding the ups and downs of life and never giving up. Calling this book a children’s book is a rather huge understatement as this book is most definitely just as fit for adults as it is for toddlers. As the description reads, “One moment our hero is riding high on an elephant’s back with a triumphant banner flapping overhead.
